Some lies are good

There are many people in our society who hide the truth in order to settle their quarrels. They lie to each other and settle each other. There are also many people who lie to hide the truth in order to quarrel with each other.
Sheikh Saadi R. mentioned such an incident, there was a person in one area, he was a very bad man, always harming people. When his crime increased, everyone judged in the king's court.
The king arrested him, and the trial began. The king heard everything and sentenced the criminal to death. The criminal, hearing the death sentence, began cursing the king, saying whatever he wanted. The king did not understand what he was saying and asked a minister what the criminal was saying.
Minister Mahday was a very good man, he had a lot of Maya in his mind. He said to the king, the criminal says - those who suppress anger and forgive people, Allah Ta'ala loves them.
On hearing this, the king was moved with pity and pardoned the culprit. Next to him was another minister, who thought he was jealous, he never wanted the best for the people. He said it was not right for high-ranking ministers like us to lie in the royal court. The culprit insulted the king and said things that were not to be taken lightly.
Hearing the jealous minister's words, the previous good minister remained silent. The king did not listen to her. Rather annoyed, he said that I liked his lies more than your truth. Because his purpose is great, he wants to forgive a man to save his precious life and give him a chance to get better. And you want a man to perish.
The king released the criminal and rewarded the minister. After a while, it was seen that the culprit has got better.
From this story of Sheikh Saadi we can understand that it is better to tell a lie than to tell a truth which causes strife or unrest and by that lie the quarrel is settled and peace is created.
