Hello greeting to my fellow steemis in this great community @steem schools. I am @ladysheba. I am happy to be making my first post since I joined this community. I will be writing on the topic;

How to care for the handicap and old people

Handicap can be defined as disadvantage for a givem individual resulting from impairment that limit or prevent the fulfilment of a role that is normal depending on age sex and cultural factors.
Impairment according to WHO 1980 define impairment as any less of physchogical ,physiological anatomical structure or functions.
My to lectures was so nice topic care of older person ,ageing:can be define as the process of growing old. This process involving gradual change that occurs in an individual as a result of passage of time they manimise.

Objective of care of age are

1• To make ageing a thing of joy,
2• To manage negative perception about aged.
3• To identify the problems affecting the aged and manage it accordingly 4• To involved the family and community in the care.
5• To give a sense of belonging to the aged in the community.

Ageing process Are

1•Thephysiological,pathophysiology 2•immune system
3• reproductive.
4• effect to brain
Cause of ageing(general) 1nature,occupation, environment, genetic, disease condition,nature of food, poverty, street, life style. Chacrasteristis of aged are ,failing memory, grey ,graving hair ,failing sense of sight ,hearing, feeling ,testes ,painful joint and limbs ,self neglect, lack of interest in social activities and withdrawal, decreased in libido ,wrinkled skin ,poor posture, reduce in ability to function

Conculsion

In summary l hope every one should cultivate the heart of how to care for the handicap and care for the old person.
