How A Poet Becomes A God

poet,
sometimes,
allow the poem write you.
trust the words to lead you
into a destination of beauty.
& beauty sometimes can be
your eyes raining upon your lips...

faith is how we write poetry.
we don't know what is
at the other side but
we walk by the light
of alphabets.

when the poem writes the poet,
it is poetry ascending high again.
you would think maybe the pen
is the one that writes the words— true.

not true. words are the writer of the pen.
as the body without the spirit is dead,
so is the pen without the words dead.

let the words write you.
that is how poetry is born.
that is how we discover ourselves.
that is how a poet becomes a god.
