LIFE is a GAMBLE ;Steem Poetry-Poetry Game Weekly Contest Week 11-Day 6
It's a masquerade and a deception,
When one live thy life without passion.
How could one easily break away,
In a game where vulnerable hearts are at stake.
Why is it okay to lose what thee posses,
To someone who don't value thy gift.
When you could be better with yourself,
Then why bet to a game that nobody wins.
Why wanted to be someone you're not,
Is pleasing that satisfying enough?
When the tables of faith turns around,
Would it be easy to see the horizon even in solid grounds?
When the dice of choices are rolled,
Does your decision makes you proud?
For many the game of faith is lost,
Are you willing to pay the consequences it cost?
When you think high as the sky,
Will you be able to handle the fall?
When you fall out of words,
Does silence sounds like a lullaby?
Life's battle don't easily go,
Not unless you take down the foe.
When everything else is laid in front of you,
Are you willing to grab them and off you go?
Life is a mess,until you realize your mistake
Be brave and give it all your best.
When you strike,make sure the iron is hot,
For opportunity comes knocking only once.
LIFE'S a gamble and every one has it's turn
You may win some or lose some
But in the end of the day what matters is how
well you play.
For even dummies take home the token of success.
I got my inspiration writing my poem from a movie that I watched,it's my reflection of how the actors live there life while making gambling as there scape in facing the reality of life
These is my second entry to the poetry contest,It takes me quite sometime to make it and I hope you appreciate every line of it.
