Promoting Local Café || Edlings Café

Greetings Steemians! Today I will share to you the newest cafe in my town named Edlings Cafe, and share to you why I love this cafe.

It was a one fine day that I decided to took out my cousin @lullettematz and her sister to eat and chill.
Edlings café, before it is known, was a house of priests. Bystanders say that the house was bought by a well-known family and made it as a café/ reastaurant. The ground floor is where the café is situated and the 2nd floor is where the owner is living that is why it’s off limits. This café is located in Baranggay Sainz, Mati, Davao Oriental. Edlings Cafe is a 3-minute tricycle ride from the city center.

After we entered the café, the staff immediately handed over their menu .

here's our order:

• 3 Shrimp Alfredo Pasta (Php105.00 each)
• 1 Mango Smoothie (Php100.00)
• 1 Mocha Caramel Latte* (Php75.00)
• 1 slice Red Velvet Cheesecake (Php100.00)

After ordering we went outside and found a table for us three. Since we are still waiting for our order to be served,my cousins and I decided to take photos outside.

My favorite food is always pasta with toasted bread on the side. I love it more when it is paired with cappuccino. I like the taste of their pasta, it is creamy and that for me is perfectly cooked. The toasted bread is great, I tasted butter and it’s crunchy too, and lastly their coffee was great, I love its bitterness.

Edlings Café is my new favorite place. Aside from my comfort food are available (pasta and coffee), this place is so calm and peaceful, it brings you closer to nature because they have many plants in their area. Edlings is a big place that is totally good in this time of pandemic.

If you plan to dine out, Edlings Café is the best place to go because they follow health protocol, and the place is wide that physical distancing will surely be observed.And also, this place is pet friendly too.

If you happen to visit Mati, just drop by in this cafe as you will feel relaxed after long hours of travel.
