Helpless cries from distant Africa is been heard
The lands of Ghana wail for sustainable water
people are dying, and yet, never having spoken a word.
Desperate parents lead the starving flock to the backyard for grazing
The temperatures keep on getting hot, and hotter
Helpless cries from all over Africa are been heard.
parents with hopeless eyes, blurred and sticky
Mothers working fast to feed their tiny, sickened son or daughter
people are dying, and yet, never having spoken a word.
They couldn't remember the last time they had a meal
They try not to slaughter a newborn calf for food
Helpless cries from all over Africa are heard.
Sounds of crying nearby, a family gathered
Love ones too weak to console a mother
People are dying, and yet, never having spoken a word.
Down to Africa with our riches and wealth, we still suffer
I know the wealthier will surely pay the potter
