AN APOLOGY LETTER TO MY UNION MEMBERS AS A PRESIDENT

Good morning Ladies and gentlemen. A notice of salient has been saved here on this noble platform. Thanks to all the members of this wake up call.

My name is Sulemana Arimiyawu, the successor to the ex-president. As the president of this noble union of GUMSU, I really went to stand on behalf of myself and the entire executives to apologize for the long due silence that has been exhibited by us. We are deeply sorry for that. It would've been unjustice not to hear this from partrotic members... This and more tell us the Executive support from afar. Thank you members, and I have in mind that we all want the forward movement of unions for this generation and generations yet unborn. It only takes courage and determination to take such a bold step. Dear members, I want to stand here to let us know that each and everyone of here is important in one way or another, even in communication. "Silent" means there is communication in that regard, so our silent means we are very determined to achieve our potential. Covid is our real enemy here, but that can never prevent us from realising our potential. The current leadership has a plan ahead to offer to the unions for the betterment of the union and that agenda can be realized by Allah's grace and your support. We, as an executive, can't do anything without your support, so therefore, there is nothing to hide under a blanket when you are the main source of realising it.

I must commend the good works of our predecessor, Mr. Hassan Ibn Yakubu, for the noble work he did. He and his entourage had a vision which they wanted to implement, but due to time factor, they couldn't do so. Such a great initiative should never be left unattended by our office and many more. A meeting should be held to delibrate issues concerning the Union in due course.Dagbaŋ kpamba yɛligu. "A ku tooi be katiŋa ka diri saliŋvɔɣu ʒiri" suɣulo n-gubiri zahim zuɣu" with this I plead with all members to exercise patience ,as we continue to linger for the forward march of the union accross the municipalityI once again apology for any inconvenience our silent might have cause our noble group.
