Adenium or in Indonesia is also known as Cambodia Japan (in contrast to frangipani flowers which are often found in burial areas even though both are types of Plumeria). The name Adenium itself is taken from one of its areas of origin, namely Aden, the capital of Yemen. The distinctive feature of the adenium flower is that the rootstock grows like a bulb and is shorter than the frangipani flower. The flower crowns are red, pink, purple, yellow, orange with a combination of white.
