Nature Photography Challenge: Río Chico Channels
Felicito a los integrantes de OPEN THE WORLD 🌍por este bonito concurso que permite valorar diferentes aspectos de la naturaleza. Mi entrada son un par de fotografías del Canal mayor de Paparo, Río Chico, en el Estado Miranda, Venezuela.
El canal es navegable, en embarcaciones pequeñas, incluyendo las de motor. También es apto para la pesca, en especial de bagres, lisa y lebranche, este último en menor proporción. En otras épocas, los turistas realizaban competencias de kayak. En la zona también abundan los cangrejos azules, con mucha y exquisita carne.
I congratulate the members of OPEN THE WORLD 🌍 for this beautiful contest that allows us to value different aspects of nature. My entry is a couple of photographs of the Canal Mayor de Paparo, Río Chico, in the State of Miranda, Venezuela.
The canal is navigable, in small boats, including motor ones. It is also suitable for fishing, especially catfish, smooth and lebranche, the latter to a lesser extent. In other times, tourists did kayak competitions. Blue crabs are also abundant in the area, with lots of exquisite meat.
