They must choose two of the color palettes shown and recreate a colorful and original look with combinations from the shoes to the head, the color palette must be reflected in their outfit.

Okay, you got me wondered about this one.

I did all the engagement challenges in the 1st month. In the 2nd one I couldn’t as we were moving and now in the 3rd month I’ve made a promise to myself to give it 100%. BUT, I’m stuck!

There is no ways my hubby will allow me to publish the kind of photos stipulated in the brief. As it is he is not happy with me even posting my face.

So, in advance, today, I am doing my own thing and I have no problem if you disqualify me. For me it goes about… I did it! So please, no hard feelings. All I want is that tick next to my name.

I am an orange person, well so I thought. I’ve got a warm nature, I’ve got good energy and I can for sure get excited about things.
Then this morning I discovered a whole new world of who I am right now.

I suppose strictly speaking this is what all these engagement challenges are about, not just for posting and certainly not only for voting and replying on the posts of fellow Steemians.
It is also there to discover who we actually are, to take us out of our comfort zones and also to learn that, the “I” do matter.

As I was walking through the house looking at all the art I noticed something I was not aware of before. At first I thought it might just be a coincident but then I start browsing through all the photos of my art which are still packed away safely.

It was clear that the art could be divided into two groups.

These are the paintings hanging in my formal lounge. Why?
Is it to make a statement or is it that I value them the most because it includes my favorite color?

What I have noticed from the oil paintings was that orange and yellow is very dominant in all of them.

In the first painting the orange and yellow is clear but I was not sure in which color palette it fits because of the red.
Could it be “Prayed”?

I then went over to the second painting.

For me it was clear, this painting falls under “New Day”. The same for the next and then next.

• Is my mood changing as I am getting older?
• Have I shifted my values?

And that brings me to the second group.

Now this was a shocker for me. Wait, let me show you;

And that is not where it ends;

Pink! No ways, I don’t like pink and I don’t even have pink clothes.

Not only is the color taking me back to my childhood but I found each piece fun and playful.

It is clear that over the last few years I had a mind shift. I am no longer the businesswoman competing with the men in the boardroom. No, I am that peaceful woman who wants to look after her household, cooking, baking and color her home in pink.

And this is how I discovered a new ME today.
