Saludos! En esta ocasión me uno al concurso propuesto por @sampraise en la comunidad STARS OF STEEM community para mostrar mi talento. Creo que mostrar lo que cada uno de nosotros hacemos es una de las cosas importantes que tiene Steemit, a mi particularmente me ayudó mucho cuando me uní en el 2018 y sentía muchas inseguridades a la hora de mostrar mi arte. Hablando de mis talentos puedo decir que hago muchas cosas y he estudiado también muchas cosas, me gradué como Licenciada en Educación Integral pero no ejerzo mi carrera de manera formal, estudié también Licenciatura en Artes Plásticas y combinando las dos carreras actualmente le doy clases de dibujo a niños desde mi casa. Amo dibujar y también amo tejer, esto último es lo que más me caracteriza y por lo que soy mayormente conocida, por eso el día de hoy además de mostrarle un poco de mi talento, les compartiré un #tutorial paso a paso para realizar un botón tejido a dos agujas con el logo de Steem, porque creo que la importancia de la plataforma recae en poder enseñar y aprender los unos con los otros.
Greetings! This time I join the contest proposed by @sampraise in the STARS OF STEEM community to show my talent. I think that showing what each of us do is one of the important things that Steemit has, it particularly helped me a lot when I joined in 2018 and I felt many insecurities when it came to showing my art. Speaking of my talents, I can say that I do many things and I have also studied many things, I graduated as a Bachelor of Comprehensive Education but I do not exercise my career in a formal way, I also studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts and combining the two careers I currently teach drawing children from my house. I love to draw and I also love to knit, the latter is what characterizes me the most and for which I am mostly known, that is why today in addition to showing you a little of my talent, I will share a step by step tutorial to make a woven button to two needles with the Steem logo, because I believe that the importance of the platform lies in being able to teach and learn with each other.
Materiales / Materials
- Hilo delgado para tejer (yo usé hilo acrílico común para tejer a crochet que en mi país se conoce como hilo Colombiano) de color blanco, azul oscuro y azul claro.
- Agujas de tejer #1,5 mm
- Tijera
- Aguja con ojo grande
- Una chapa o botón publicitario reciclado de 5,5 cm
- Thin yarn for knitting (I used common acrylic yarn to crochet, which in my country is known as Colombian yarn) in white, dark blue and light blue.
- Knitting needles # 1,5 mm
- Scissor
- Needle with big eye
- A 5.5 cm recycled advertising button or badge
Patrón / Pattern
Para el patrón utilicé papel milimetrado, lápiz, regla y un marcador punta fina de color azul. No es necesario que hagan el patrón porque yo se los voy a compartir, el mismo lo pueden utilizar en otras técnicas y se aplica el mismo diseño del Logo de Steem, es decir, es mi aporte funcionaría para cualquier manualista que desee replicar el logo. Este es el procedimiento de su realización:
For the pattern I used graph paper, pencil, ruler and a fine point blue marker. It is not necessary that you make the pattern because I am going to share it with you, it can be used in other techniques and the same design of the Steem Logo is applied, that is, it is my contribution would work for any manualist who wishes to replicate the logo. Técnica / Technique
La técnica que utilizo es una del tejido a dos agujas que se llama Jacquard la cual consiste en tejer en punto jersey (es decir una vuelta de puntos derechos y una vuelta con punto revés) mientras que el diseño o cambios de colores se realizan conforme a un patrón dibujado en una cuadricula, donde cada cuadro de color representa un punto en el tejido.
The technique I use is a two-needle knitting technique called Jacquard, which consists of knitting in Jersey stitch (that is, one round with knit stitches and one round with reverse stitch) while the design or color changes are made according to a pattern drawn on a grid, where each colored square represents a stitch in the fabric.
Punto Jersey / Stockinette stitch
Las vueltas impares es decir las del lado del frente se tejen siempre con punto derecho.
The odd rows, that is, those on the front side are always knitted with Right stitch.
Las vueltas pares es decir las del lado de atrás se tejen con Punto revés
Even rounds, that is, those on the back side, are knitted with Reverse stitch
Instrucciones / Instructions
Montaje de puntos / Cast on stitches on the needle
Se inicia con el montaje de 19 puntos más dos puntos de los orillos, es decir 21 puntos en total con el hilo de color blanco.
It begins with the assembly of 19 stitches plus two selvedge stitches, that is, 21 stitches in total with the white thread.
Nota: El primer y último punto son los puntos de orillo, estos se tejen siempre de la siguiente forma: se desliza el primer punto sin tejer a la aguja derecha, mientras que el último punto siempre se teje al derecho.
Note: The first and last stitch are the edge stitches, these are always worked as follows: slip the first stitch without knitting to the right needle, while the last stitch is always knitted right.
Cuerpo del tejido / Tissue body
Se teje en punto jersey haciendo un aumento al inicio y al final cada dos vueltas hasta obtener 31 puntos (+2 orillos), se tejen 16 vueltas sin aumentos y luego se realizan disminuciones al inicio y al final cada dos vueltas hasta volver a tener 19 puntos en la aguja(+2 orillos). Los cambios de color se realizan conforme al patrón.
It is worked in Stockinette stitch making an increase at the beginning and at the end every two rounds until obtaining 31 stitches (+2 selvages), 16 rounds are worked without increases and then decreases are made at the beginning and at the end every two rounds until reaching 19 again stitches on the needle (+2 selvages). Color changes are made according to the pattern.
Cierre del tejido / Fabric closure
Posteriormente se cierra el tejido. Esto se realiza tejiendo un punto, tejiendo el siguiente y pasando por encima de este el punto anterior como muestro a continuación:
Subsequently the tissue is closed. This is done by knitting a stitch, knitting the next one and passing the previous stitch over it as shown below:
Una vez cerrado el tejido se procede a asegurar los hilos por la parte posterior
Once the fabric is closed, the threads are secured from the back
Armado del botón / Button assembly
Se debe lavar y planchar el tejido antes de armarlo, esto hace que los hilos tomen su lugar y que no se enrollen.
The fabric must be washed and ironed before assembling it, this makes the threads take their place and not twist.
Con la aguja de ojo grande se toma la hebra final y se pasa el hilo por todos los bordes para arruchar. Se coloca el botón dentro del tejido y se debe halar la hebra hasta que se arruche por completo, se asegura con un nudo y se esconde la hebra por dentro.
With the large eye needle, the final thread is taken and the thread is passed around all the edges to crease. The button is placed inside the fabric and the thread must be pulled until it is completely wrinkled, it is secured with a knot and the thread is hidden inside.
Resultado Result
Creo que un lindo botón para poner en la ropa, las chaquetas o las mochilas, es una buena estrategia para dar a conocer Steem a la gente que nos pregunte qué significa.
I think that a nice button to put on clothes, jackets or backpacks, is a good strategy to make Steem known to people who ask us what it means.

Estos son algunos de los amigurumis que he tejido, obviamente no son todos, pero son los que me parecieron apropiados para esta fotografía porque son los que se sostiene de pie por tener estructura de alambre por dentro.

Mi pasión por el dibujo y en combinación con el tejido me permitió graduarme de Licenciada en Artes plásticas y desarrollar mi trabajo final de grado. Aquí les comparto una foto de mi trabajo de tesis, un cuadro tejido cuando aún estaba sin el marco de madera.
My passion for drawing and in combination with weaving allowed me to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and develop my final degree project. Here I share a photo of my thesis work, a woven painting when it was still without the wooden frame.
