En mi vehículo he podido vivir muchas experiencias, desde conocer a Antonio, quien es mi esposo hace 17 años, hasta gestar variadas acciones para la casa y el trabajo.

A mi esposo lo conocí un día que supervisando un curso de sobrevivencia en agua, él me preguntó si le podía trasladar a su residencia y lo hice y desde ese momento no nos separamos más que por situaciones puntuales.

Mi carro ha servido como unidad psicoterapéutica para mis amigas, allí hemos conversado, analizado problemas conyugales, con los hijos, sus motivaciones para emigrar. Todo ello, en los traslados para nuestros trabajos. Mi carro siempre anda lleno, para queja de mis hijos que exigen exclusividad, porque también les gusta hablar de sus alegrías y problemas cuando vamos de camino. Yo les he explicado que en estos momentos de dificultades debemos apoyar a la gente y opino que esas lecciones les quedaran guardadas y servirán más adelante.

My car has served as a psychotherapeutic unit for my friends, there we have talked, analyzed marital problems, problems with the children, their motivations to emigrate. All of this during our commutes to our jobs. My car is always full, to the complaint of my children who demand exclusivity, because they also like to talk about their joys and problems when we are on the road. I have explained to them that in these difficult times we must support the people and I believe that these lessons will remain with them and will be useful later on.

Si una amiga necesita llevar a su hija a la graduación, como ha sucedido, cuenta conmigo. Si alguien está enfermo y hay que trasladarlo, nos llaman para el apoyo, y bromeando, al carrito le dicen la ambulancia.

If a friend needs to take her daughter to graduation, as has happened, count on me. If someone is sick and needs to be moved, they call us for support, and jokingly, they call the cart the ambulance.

También con compañeros, hemos hecho reuniones informales de trabajo en el carro que han sido fructíferas, allí podrás encontrar agendas, laptop, libretas.

Ahora, hay que tomar en cuenta el uso de mascarillas como prevención del Covid-19, y ha sucedido que debemos regresarnos a buscarlas, si a alguno se nos olvida. Hubo varios meses que estuvo el carro parado por situación mecánica y tuvimos que hacer las compras a pie. Adelgacé varios kilogramos de peso, que he ido recuperando luego de poner el carro nuevamente en circulación. Me asombra lo que el ejercicio puede hacer para la mejora de la salud física y psicológica. Ya estoy tomando medidas para seguir caminando.

Now, we have to take into account the use of masks as prevention of Covid-19, and it has happened that we have to go back to look for them, if someone forgets them. There were several months when the car was stopped due to a mechanical situation and we had to do the shopping on foot. I lost several kilograms of weight, which I have been regaining after putting the car back in circulation. It amazes me what exercise can do to improve physical and psychological health. I am already taking steps to keep walking.

Mi vehículo, por todo lo que allí gestamos y vivimos a diario, es mi otra casa y oficina, varias veces debo detenerme en el camino para responder llamadas.

My vehicle, for all that we gestate and live there daily, is my other home and office, several times I have to stop on the way to answer calls.
