Abuse Watcher Portal development Update -- New Emoji Indicator feature for Reports Verification --18-Feb-2023
Hello everyone!
Hello my friends. how are you, I hope my friends will be happy and well. by the grace of God, I am also well. Today I am here with new development of AW portal. We have changed the name of our portal; initially it was called SW portal, but it is now officially known as AW portal. every development is same just we update its name. To validate the data provided by detectives and regular users, certain additional functions have been implemented on the admin side. Emoji indicators are introduced during this development stage to advise the detective to act on the reported post on the base of emoji indicators.
The toggler button I added first has two steps, however that is not enough to provide action directions on the report. we made the decision to include emoji. Like the Discord emoji features, it will function. By clicking on the "emoji add" icon, we may add multiple emojis.
This feature is covered with the help of ajax to store emoji data into database. For storing and fetching emoji data we are using the utf8mb4_bin collation for database. Ajax will take data from one page to another page. Unique id will concatenate with emoji data to carry data from one page to another page.
Here is the screenshot of new emoji feature at admin side. Admin can give indicator emoji sign by clicking on add emoji button. When click event will trigger on emoji button a emoji panel will open to select the emojis. Then press on verify button to store and show the emoji that in the database.
Here is the screenshot of new emoji feature at detective and general user side. Detective and general user can not add the emoji indicator by yourself. This rule is just performing by admin. Detective and general user just can see the indicator that will given by admin on their abuse reports.
Here is the few lines of emoji code that will help use as a emoji indicator.
If anyone have any suggestion, then must share with us in the comment section. we will focus on it and try to apply it if it will suitable.
