My favorite childhood game was "The card game" There are different type of card games, but the one in particular I love playing is the Whot game, popularly known as Naija whot

NAIJA WHOT

WHOT is a national card game which was introduced by tht British. Playing Whot varies from place to place and it is a well known card game across the world. Especially In Nigeria, whot is commonly played among the youths.

OBJECTIVE OF WHOT

One of the players has to play the same figure or same shape consecutively until no card is remaining with the player, then the game is said to end, although depending on the number of players, if they were more than 2 players, then the rest will continue playing, last person that wins will emerge the winner

NUMBER OF PLAYERS	Two and above players
MATERIALS	Whot card park with 54 cards.
TYPE OF GAME	Card Game
AUDIENCE	From Age 5 and above.

CONTENTS

• A pack contains a total of 54 cards with 5 different symbols, shapes, and numbers.

• The shapes are crosses, triangles, stars, circles, and squares

SETUP

• A Player start by shuffling the cards, then share them randomly among the other players.

• Cards are shared among the players depending on the number of players in the game.

RULES

• Card numbered 1: The moment this card is played by a player, all the remaining players have to hold on, then that player plays again.

• Card numbered 2: When this card is played during a game, the player automatically commands the next player to pick two extra cards, abd unless the victim has and card numbered to play and pass to the next player to pick 4, he/she has to pick 2.

• Card numbered 8: This card also known as "Suspension card", when played by a players automatically suspense the next player, and give room for the third person to play.

• Card numbered 14: Otherwise known as "General Market", When a player plays this game, all the remaining players are to pick one card each to add to their already existing card.

HOW TO PLAY

After the shuffling and sharing of cards between all the players randomly is completed, the game is started by placing one of the remaining cards on the table, after then the game proper begins, with the person that shuffled the card.
