I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July yesterday, Silvertop definitely did!🤗
Today was a “Catch up” kind of day………
I put yard work on hold for the Holiday, and as Cot snoozed away on “HIS” special table in our loft, Silvertop pulled out numerous yard power tools, and started working!😅
Today’s “Plan” was to beat the afternoon heat of the day.
Cot came downstairs, to watch Dad fuel up the weed-eater……….
I mow, and then edge trim, about two acres, the balance of our five acres is forest. The weed-eater is the worst part!🙄
Stinging Nettle grows naturally in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
Until Silvertop can figure a way to “Napalm” this nasty weed Lol, I continue on “damage control” with my weed-eater!🙄
Skin contact with the acid in the leaves of this plant can cause blistering!
Silvertop has been there, done that, with a weed eater!
OUCH!!!😳
Many hot hours later, Cot was still sleeping in front of one of our patio doors…..😻
“ My boy, Dad is more than finished for today! “ 😅
Silvertop is heading indoors, and turning on the A/C!😇
