Most people due to the advancement in age starts developing anxiety which is as a result of so many things which will be discussed in this article.

Now for more clarity what is anxiety you may ask, Anxiety is the process which has to do with the state of mind or feelings nervousness or worry

Causes in old age

Now this is where we return back to the main theme of the contest, is there age anxiety in your country? Now what causes this anxiety?

Below are the two main causes of anxiety to people in old age;

• Fear
• Health

Fear

---

Now fear comes in so many forms, intact fear is one of the only reasons for anxiety in elderlies, because when they sit and imagine that in their old age that death is fast approaching.

So the fear of death is one of the only reasons why most elderly people suffer from anxiety and this also is everywhere even in my country Nigeria.

Health

Another thing that also causes anxiety in elderly people is health, yes when people grow old their cells becomes wick which makes them vulnerable to diseases.

And also having going to the hospital and undergoing medication always indict in them anxiety because they become worried about their situations.

Note:

^{Coupled with the above mentioned causes of this anxiety I would say that it is very common even in my country that elderly people are most likely to suffer from anxiety}
