I live in India and people of different religions live in our India. Respect for all religions is equal . Hence , whenever there is a festival of any religion , all schools and colleges remain closed on that day . Festivals like Holi, Diwali, Bakrid, Christmas, Eid, Guru Nanak Jayanti etcetera .

But on all these festivals, you do not get such a long leave from school and college that you can go somewhere away from your city or what can be called very long holidays.

In India, the weather keeps changing from time to time. Sometimes it is summer , or winter or rainy. All types of seasons bloom here. Majorly we get two long holidays in school and college , first in the summer season and second in the winter season. These holidays are so long that we can go out somewhere for vacations.

In summer- It is extremely hot during the summers in our country and the sun is so strong that there is a risk of children falling ill , hot air brings a lot of dizziness, headaches and fevers . Hence, here we get holidays of about 45 to 50 days in the schools. In most of the schools, the holidays are from 15th May to 15th June. There is a holiday which is the most difficult time of summer. Children also wait a lot for these holidays. During holidays, there is no tension of school or worry of doing homework and most of the children go out of station with their parents to cool down. Sometimes parents take kids to their grandparent's place to enjoy a lot. People also go to the water park a lot in this season.

In winter - There is a lot of cold in the winter days and in this season also the risk of children getting sick increases, hence in most of the schools and colleges there are holidays for about 20 to 25 days, which we also called long holidays. It is possible that children also eagerly wait for these holidays because during the holidays they have to get up early in the morning for school and on holidays, the tension of getting up early in the morning goes away. Plus the late morning sleep in winters are everything for kids .
