Your country's special day of remembrance?

My country name is Bangladesh. Here 16th December is Victory Day, so it is celebrated as a special day every year in the state. This day is the Independence Day of Bangladesh. After Operation Searchlight, conducted by the Pakistani Army on March 25, 1971, the Bengali freedom fighters united and fought for a long 9 months, in which millions of people lost their lives. In this war, the members of the Pakistani army surrendered to Bangladesh on December 16, 1971, as a result of which Bangladesh occupied its single map on the world map.

On the occasion of independence every year on December 16, the entire Bangladeshis celebrate the day with great enthusiasm. Bangladesh's Victory Day has been celebrated nationally since 1972. Martyrs were remembered at the National Memorial today at 12:00 PM. This war is an important event for Bangladeshis. On this day, the day is observed through parades, rallies, discussion meetings, discussion programs, cultural programs, films and mass media.

On this day, the Bangladesh Army organized a parade at the National Parade Ground, the President and the Prime Minister were the chief guests of the festival. We watch the parade program live on TV. The best part is the parades of the aircraft conducted by the Air Force, the red and green colors are dropped from the aircraft to represent the flag of Bangladesh.
On this day, festivals are celebrated from every village to city in Bangladesh. Sports are organized with farmers in many villages, boating is organized in riverside villages. Fireworks are set off in the city. Fairs are organized in many places on the occasion of Victory Day.
