Sunday Relaxation............ NW Cascade Wanderings

The morning found us heading to church. We are still on one service Sundays for the balance of the month. Then it’s supposed to go back to the early and late services. We’ve always gone to the later service but I think this time, we might make the switch to the earlier ones. The sermon and worship was good as usual. 😇

We came home and had some lunch. I ran a couple loads of laundry and hung it out to dry. Not much happening around here today. Mid afternoon, we headed out for a hike with Jan. It’s been a few days since we’ve connected and had plenty to discuss. We ran into Keith and Lynne and they told us of the passing of one of our neighbors up the road. She had been very sick and I think everyone was kind of expecting it. Sad, as she leaves behind her husband and apparently no other family. 😔

We discussed the fair as Jan has entered a couple smaller quilts and I my photograph. I don’t know how confident she’s feeling. I’m in it for the experience and if I get lucky-so be it!
