Blue Skies............ NW Cascade Wanderings

We originally intended to get in the hot tub this morning, but with all that needed doing, decided to postpone that until Monday. Then, with all the physical work @silvertop had been doing while I was at work this past week doing the physical-mental thing, he decided to throw out plans to go to Home Depot and pick up items needed, and instead, suggested a trip to the bay and whatever shopping I needed to do. So, to the bay we went!

Alfred the Seagull was out and had some chatty friends!

Almost at every rocky area, Alfred was to be found!

As we began across one of the sections of the boardwalk, I spied something new! It was high tide for once which may have something to do with it.

Meet Mr. Jellyfish! 🪼 He didn’t appear overly large, but I suspect he was bigger than I thought he might be!

The rose hips are getting closer to harvest. They grow wildly and profusely around the bay.

He was busy looking for lunch!

It was a nice time but we needed to head to Cash-N-Carry for some coffee supplies and then a quick zip up the expressway to hit Costco. We were out of some necessities that only they have. Then up Guide Meridian to hit the Woods Coffeehouse for a much needed mocha frappe.

I watered the garden-my little 30 gallon water bladder making it much easier and quicker, to get that job done. I noticed quite a few green beans and plan to harvest tomorrow to see if I’ve got enough for a mess of green beans. If so, they’ll find their way to a pot for dinner tomorrow!
