OK, but can you explain how its origin can be traced back to ancient Greece? I mean, the Chinese invented pasta and nobody in Greece, Italy, places like that had any pasta until traders/explorers like Marco Polo brought some pasta back to Europe.

So how does this pasta dish trace its origins to ancient Greece?
