We hereby present our community monthly report as requested by this noble community. This report is going to cover the following

Our community purpose

The purpose of steem kids and parents community is to provide a space here in steemit where kids and parents can connect and interact with each other so as to form that uniting bonds that will keep them together as they build their future together. It also provides the enabling environment for healthy learning for the kids as well as the parents. This community has maintained it's purpose through out the month under consideration through our activities. We have not deviated from it.

This month of May, the community account grew to achieve +45000 steempower and we made the dolphin post as can be seen below

Currently, our steem power is 45468.001 owned sp and a total of 58,390.90 SP effective sp.

Apart from the delegated steempower, we also have an active curation trail which enables our vote value at 100% upvote and when the account is fully recharged to give +$2.

For the month of May, we tried our best to use these available resources to support both the admins, the moderators and all members at large. This has kept us going till date and we promise to keep building on what we already have with the supports we are receiving.

Our community stats

Our community has been around for close to 2 years now. In fact, this 14th June will mark our second anniversary here in steemit and since then, we have been doing great. For instance,

The total subscribers is 5757 and 150 are active as at date. Throughout the month of may, we never went below 115 active users. And this is amazing because we are always trying our best to keep these users active with activities.

The mods actively check publications and review them on a daily basis. They take turns to do so despite low support.

We hope to continue in this routine.

All moderators choose quality all 6 publications on their review day which in turn are checked and reviewed to ensure that no one has received more than 3 booming votes with 7 days as directed by the steemit team. We also check to ensure that the booming votes go round and that no one receives more than one in the community except the community account that receives 2 booming votes in a week.

Our contests that helps us to keep the members busy

Contests are our little secret that helps us keep the members active and the community booming with active users and publications. It takes great efforts to organize these contests. Thanks to the admin and moderators. Throughout the month of may, the community hosted these ongoing contests

Majority of the moderators are consistent in hosting their own contests.

Apart from the contests, we also post the booming support for each day. This means that we make a daily post to announce the users that we select for each day to encourage them to do more.

Our plans for the current month

For this month of June, we plan to

• Keep the users active with our activities like never before. Although the ongoing engagement challenge tends to reduce the number of active users in all communities that aren't selected, we will keep doing our best to retain our active users, at least, not to fall below 100.

• We plan to keep building our steempower through our activeness and powerups. We are currently doing club100 as a community and this shows that the community funds are not withdrawn for others uses. We make use of steempower for our contest rewards.

• We will celebrate our 2nd anniversary soon and this will be done depending on the resources available to us. We pray for more supports. Last year's 1st anniversary was done on a grand style. We hope to have a great one this year.

• This community has continuity in mind and as such, we will present our June report in this community.

Conclusion

We are grateful for this opportunity to present our report here. We hope that we have done Justice to it and pray for continuous opportunity and improvement in areas we aren't doing well.
