**Digital Advertising**: The future of ads on the blockchain.

Why don’t we go further into the combination of blockchain and digital advertising.
Interestingly, one of the hottest trends in the constant and extremely dynamic development of digital advertising is faith and openness. Advertisers have problems such as ad fraud, limited responsibility, and concealed ad positions. In comes blockchain—a decentralized ledger that threatens to disrupt the conventional structure of the trade. Here's how:
(i) Transparency and Efficiency:
- Of course, traditional digital advertising includes several layers of intermediaries – ad networks, demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms – which makes it more complicated and expensive.
- By its nature, most activities performed on the blockchain eliminate the need for middlemen since all participants have access to a shared, tamper-proof record of transactions.
- Ad networks and sellers can know where their ads are posted, who seen them and how effective. This transparency builds trust.
(ii) Combatting Ad Fraud:
- click fraud which is a type of ad fraud affects advertisers in billions every year. Clicks, impressions, and sites that are fake waste money while giving minimal or no returns.
- Due to the ability of creating a distributed and durable database, the manipulations of the fraudsters become impossible here.
- This means that no fraudulent activities are going to occur since all transactions have to be verified by the blockchain.
(iii) Data Privacy and Security:
- Booming restrictions (like GDPR and CCPA) focus on data protection.
- The system used by the blockchains makes it easier for data not to be stored in a central location hence minimizing breach.
- They increase the level of security because they work according to the established conditions, without the need for any additional actions.
Future Developments:
- Since organizations are seeing the advantages of blockchain, its application in digital advertising will increase.
- Anticipate better smart contracts, better compatibility of blockchain systems, and scalability.
In conclusion it can be said that blockchain is one of the most promising technologies that can bring significant changes to the future of the digital advertising, rebuild trust and create better norms and standards.
