All we see around us is dust. Cities around the world are slowly becoming uninhabitable due to increasing dust in the air and atmosphere. That dust is not the topic of our discussion today but the topic of our discussion today is the dust of Steam or Steam Blockchain. When we make a post or comment on Steam, the rewards generated are split into two, with voters getting half and the author getting the rest. But if the total reward amount of a post and comment is below 0.02 SBD(SBD), the post will be zero as dust when payment is made. That is, any post and comment reward below 0.02 SBD before exit or within seven days will receive zero reward, i.e. lost in the system like dust.

A question may arise in the minds of many that this small amount of reward is too much for new users and it would be better if it is distributed in small amounts instead of leaving it as dust. But actually this is done to prevent a kind of spamming. If I give an example, you will understand it better. For example, if many people comment on something very small, such as: very nice, very good, thank you, etc., everyone comments and votes very small. If the number of these comments is very high, then at the end of the month or at the end of the year this number will become a lot. And newbies have very little voting power, so they can spam those comments with very few votes. All in all, a situation of spamming can occur and that's why all blockchains have a minimum level that is considered dust.

From what I discussed earlier, you can understand that we can't have unlimited votes even if we wanted to because our voting is limited and thus prevents a form of spamming. On the other hand, our resource credit is also limited, so we can't comment on many people's posts or thousands, millions of posts or all day long. On the other hand you cannot post every 5 minutes. So spamming is prevented by combining all these factors and all the above factors where the minimum limit given is dust. These have been discussed earlier so today I will only discuss dust cess for post minimum payout.

You must know that when transferring to different blockchains like Bitcoin or other blockchains, a minimum amount is assumed and the minimum amount must be transferred above. And the least amount of blockchain ledger or coding is actually dust. If you don't keep the minimum amount, it will damage the blockchain causing a lot of spamming and ennui. Hope you understand why different blockchains include these dusts and limits.

You have voting power, if you vote 0.012 on a post and no one else does, that vote is wasted, just like our electoral system doesn't vote. Your vote will be of no use i.e. the whole will be void. So if your valuable vote and voting power gets dusty. On the other hand, writers who have very good comments get 0.017 votes but won't get anything during payout even though they expected to get something. So if you can't save the dust, everyone suffers. After all, dust is our problem that will render our voting power useless or wasteful and needlessly wasted.
