So today I have come to share with you, how I have set up recovery account for my account security, I am presenting to you step by step today. First we will enter by clicking on this link given above.
After entering the link given above, first we entered our wallet with our account username and privet key.
After login we will see Account details option. Then we will click on this account details option.
Then we will see an option called change recovery account. Click on that option.
Then you will see an option called New Recovery Account. There we will give the user id of our recovery account. I have set the recovery on @retrieve id so given the username of this id. This is a very secure id of our @rme dada.
In the next option, we will ask for our privet owner key, there we will click on the OK button with our owner key.
Then you will see that @retrieve is showing pending as your new recovery account and it is showing 30 days. We have to wait for 30 days to set the new recovery ID from the old recovery ID.
In this way we can easily set the recovery ID of our account. Actually it is very important to set recovery id of this steemit account. By doing this we will get back our hacked ID very soon. So we all should set recovery id of our account. Then our account will be very safe.
