I am very happy to be back sharing my activities in promoting and digital marketing for Steemit. This time I have submitted an article on the Indonesian Wikipedia platform which explains the Steem Blockchain. Wikipedia as an information and knowledge platform is the right platform for us to use in promoting projects.

Soft Marketing

As a free encyclopedia, the Wikipedia web page is often used to search for information and knowledge. Wikipedia is a reference source page for consumption related to a topic you want to know about. Thus, publishing articles about Steem Blockchain on Wikipedia is a step in doing soft marketing.

Instead of providing information about the project, I try to compose a written text or copy writer with a level of sensitivity that can build project promotion. I try to gather concrete sources in this writing. So that this article is not ridiculed or deleted by Wikipedia.

At least I need up to 5 hours in the process of finding sources, writing and editing. I have several reasons why I made an article about Steem Blockchain in the Indonesian version of Wikipedia. The basic foundation is because in my review, currently in Indonesia there are many people who are aware of Blockchain and Crypto. Moreover, in the case of crypto, Indonesia already has legality, crypto is one of the assets that can be traded legally according to law.

Even in more advanced rules, the government benefits from the tax fees imposed on each crypto transaction. Thus, crypto and blockchain in Indonesia have become a growing business and are starting to become popular. In this case, of course there will be many people who want to find information about Blockchain from various sources.

Impact Promotion

The main source that is often recommended by Google search related to information is the Wikipedia platform. Wikipedia is often displayed at the top of the Google search index which refers to the information you are looking for. In this case, of course, the Blockchain search will also recommend Steem Blockchain as one of the search results.

On the other hand, creating this informative article will also have an impact to :

• Soft marketing for the Steem Blockchain project
• Adoption of the Steem Blockchain network

This article is recommended in the 2nd position in the search which is on a page with information about Steemit.
