Block height and steem blockchain

Integrity and security of the blockchain could be maintained by block height. Any kind of tempering and double spending would be prevented in this way when transactions would be added in correct order to the blockchain.
Whenever any block would add then it would also include reference to the hash of the previous block which create chain of all the blogs that can also traced back to the very first one after that. Block height is directly proportional to security of the blockchain because as block height would increase then it would increase the security of the blockchain in other way so the less number of blocks leads to less security and vice versa. The reason is this because when you have to alter any block in the chain then it means that you have to change hash of all the blocks which is infeasible computationally.

If I talk about blockchain network then block height also essential here for consensus mechanism. For the determination of the valid version of the blockchain consensus mechanism like proof of work and proof of stake are used. It is important for the maintenance of agreement among participants of the network as well as for preventing potential attacks.

In steem blockchain, block height working is just similar to other blockchains. There are number of transactions that one block contains and as transactions added to the blockchain the height of block increase. Again you can imagine the whole scenario in this case also that you want to build a building and the first block that would add would be Genesis block which would have zero height and when at steem blockchain more and more blocks would be added then definitely height increases and it would also increase security of the blockchain in more secure way.

At steem for the discovery of content and for rewarding users of their efforts block height plays a great role.At steem each block contains transactions as well as content and in addition to this comments and what also so whenever you made a post or leave a comment or upvote then it also increase the height of blockchain. It means that the more to create content and the more you would leave comments and upvotes on others posts the more you are playing role in making the blockchain secure because the more there would be increase in height of blocks.

More block height determines that transactions have been place in a regular order and there is no tempering. Older comments posts and words have more high block than the new ones in this way. Through block height it becomes more easier for users to engage with older comments and posts.
