I feel lots of joy in my heart today as I approach this great community of steemians to continue my discussion from where we paused the previous time.
From our last discussion which can be accessed through this link, we examine the true definition of a bot and what it stands for.
We also examined the reasons some steemians contemplate to make use of bots in making their posts.
Today, we shall examine the effects the using of bots have both on users and the platform as a whole.

EFFECTS OF MAKING USE OF BOTS TO MAKE POST
There are numerous effect the making use of bots to make post have on us as steemian and the steemit Platform, some of them are:
- IT DISGUSTS INVESTORS:
No investor will want to invest in a blogging site/blockchain where the members of such site cannot make original post without the use of bot.
Making use of bot in a blogging site depicts that the members of that site aren't serious and are not ready to make progress.
All these will chase people/investors away from the platform.
- IT REDUCES THE QUALITY OF POST:
It is right obvious that a bot cannot make a post to have great quality as a human will.
The use of bots in making posts on steemit reduces the quality of your post and as such, drives away your audience.
One of the main reason we make quality post on steemit is to draw audience to our blog, and the more audience we attract the more reward we are likely to get.
- OUR POSTS CAN BE TERMED PLAGIARISM:
Whenever we request a bot to make a post for us, we should remember that the bots don't have a mind of their own like humans, they can't reason the way human reason.
The bots only copy from the article of other bloggers from the internet and this is what we know as plagiarism.
Submitting plagiarized post is a great offense and has its consequence which we are all aware of.
- IT LEADS TO DISAPPROVAL:
The use of bot in making posts leads to the disapproval of the steemit team and other curators.
No curator will be willing to vote on a post that was prepared by bot, plus it is not original and lacks good quality.
It is better for one not to make a post at all than for one to make a post that will anger other steemians.
- DECREASES THE VALUE OF STEEMIT:
When I say that the use of bot decreases the value of steemit, I do not mean it's monetary value.
What I mean is that the standard of steemit will reduce when compared to it's contemporaries.
As at now, steemit has more standard than it's contemporaries but when we result in the use of bolt, steemit will loose it's standard and value.
CONCLUSION
It is very important that we promote steemit and keep raising its standard.
We can support to doing this by refraining from the use of bots to make post, we should learn to make posts from our heart.
By refraining from using bots in post making, we can attracts the curators and other audience to our blog.
