To my understanding, mentorship is simply a relationship in which someone who is more experienced and knowledgeable spends his or her time to guide and help a person who has less experience or knowledge. In other words, mentorship is the act of guiding an inexperienced person to become experienced in something about which he or she is not knowledgeable or has no experience.

With proper mentorship given by a mentor to someone who is less knowledgeable, such a person will become better. Having said so, mentorship should be done in the following ways:

• Allow your mentee to talk about the areas they're finding difficult to understand.
• Be friendly and polite with your mentor.
• Communicate frequently with your mentee.
• Give your mentee some tasks to accomplish so you can
• know how fast the person is good at learning.

Yes, mentorship is really necessary for the growth of a newbie on Steemit because Steemit is a very big platform that is more centralized than others. On Steemit, we have the achievement program that is run in the newcomer community, and all the tasks can't be accomplished so easily by a newbie if the person doesn't have a mentor.

The Steem blockchain and its social media platform have a lot to learn, and one person, especially a newbie, can't learn them all. On Steemit, there is a need for newbies to be mentored so they can learn and understand how the Steemit platform works.

Some of the most effective ways to organize Steemit mentorship are offline and online. You can organize online classes for your mentees to always reach you, especially for those who are far away from you. Online classes on WhatsApp or Discord can be an effective way to organize Steemit mentorship.

Another effective way to organize Steemit mentorship is offline mentorship. This type of mentorship is known as physical mentorship, where you can have a bicameral discussion and get to know your mentee better.

The effects of mentorship on a student are the knowledge that the student gains from his or her mentor. Knowledge is power, which every mentee wants to gain from his or her mentor.
