Hallo Steemians ! It's great to meet all of you again. In this series, I will discuss and review the break in market structure (BOS) and the continuation of the previous trend change (CoCH) material.
Breaking market structure, or BOS, is a confirmation of a trend change. And this time we will discuss how to identify the occurrence of market structure breaks and look for valid and invalid market structure breaks.
When we see the real market, we will get used to identifying a break in structure and taking advantage of it as an opportunity in trading.
Breaking market structure is the occurrence of a valid reversal of the direction of the previous ongoing trend.
For example, if the market is in a bullish trend and a trend change occurs, followed by a break in the structure, the previously bearish trend changes be bullish.
You can see in the picture above that the previous market was in a bullish phase.but after the trend change occurred and was followed by a break of structure, the trend now turned bearish.
By being able to identify a valid break in the structure properly, the chance of getting a trading position will be much greater.
In identifying a valid market structure, of course, we have to know whether the market has experienced a trend change or not.
In addition, the occurrence of a break in structure is also a continuation of the trend that occurs in the market structure.
It can be seen in the picture above that the occurrence of a break of structure is also a continuation of a trend.
It can be concluded that the price will most likely continue its decline and form a break of a new structure.
What can friends see from the picture above?
Yes, it's true that the price has indicated a trend change.
In the picture above, there has been a trend change. So, the previous break in structure is no longer valid.
If you sell trades in the derivatives market, of course, you will have closed the position when the trend change occurred.
And you can get ready to buy a position when a break in the structure is confirmed.
By identifying a break in structure, we can understand that the market is continuing its trend.
Whether it's from the continuation of trend changes or continuing trends in the market structure.

Aku kok bingung ya perbedaan change of Character dan break of structure. Kelihatannya sama sama merusak struktur.
Apa perbedaan kedua ini kalau CoCh hanya merusak tren, kalau BOS melakukan pembalikan tren? Tapi kalau yg dijelaskan td melanjutkan tren. Jajajaja
Break of strutur terjadi saat munculnya trend chnage.
Saat terjadi break of structure, market benar valid berubah trend nya.
Oalah. Berarti ini yg maksudnya konfirmasi ya.
CoCh itu masih sinyal karena belum valid pergerakannya. Karena yang dilihat bagian ujung dan masih mood-an ga jelas mau ke mana. Labil, dan gak punya pendirian.
Tapi kalo dah ketemu garis BOS. keputusan CoCh udah bisa di lihat mau ke arah mana.

Of course, Trend change and breakup of market structure are the same thing with mCoCH and mBOS.
However, what I understand is that it is used differently, namely in the internal structure and the external structure.
