Today I'm going to teach you something that you prbably don't know but it is an important part of Steem that is currently disused but could be helpful if we start looking again on it. It is the Steem Proposals:

What a proposal is?

The proposals system is a way that offers the Steem Blockchain to fund any kind of activity directly from the DAO account (@steem.dao) it is mainly created for developers who will be able to write a proposal for a new DAPP, service, etc, and the community will be able to vote for it and the very first listed proposal will be the one that will be funded by DAO account.

You will be able to vote for proposals and it will receive your approvation score based in your own SP, similar as with witnesses happens. Currently the proposals system is locked by a Return Proposal which is basically a proposal that return the funds to the DAO account to avoid the misuse of this system, but is someone can get above 48 millions SP approvation this could be reopened again.

To create a proposal is quite easy, you just need to write a post mentioning what is for your proposal and then pay a fee of 10.000 SBD to the blockchain to become that post in an active proposal, to do this you can use the following page:

You just need to fill the formulary with the following information:

• The title of your proposal (suggested the same that your steem post)
• Daily request amount. The daily SBD you want to receive.
• Start date.
• End date.
• Permlink of your steem post (everything after the username in the url)
• Creator (the acccount that will pay the SBD fee)
• Receiver (the account that will get the fund if the proposal reach the TOP)

There is several good proposals going around, despite Steemit team is going to fund development activities they can't cover everything at all, maybe is a good time to start looking on it again. What do you think?
