Today I'm here to share my knowledge with you about the topic "Interplanetary File System Integration With Blockchain Technology" in this Steem Alliance community. Friends as we all know that the use of blockchain technology is increasing massively in the whole world. From finance to health cares, digital voting systems and other departments, the blockchain technology is revolutionizing them due to their amazing benefits. Besides all of them, the interplanetary file system is also one of them in which the blockchain technology has a great role.
This is because when the blockchain technology is integrated with interplanetary file system, it manage, access and store data on internet in more better way. Also it makes the platform more efficient, secure and reliable for the people to increase its productivity and other features. If we talk about the interplanetary file system, then we can say that it is digital hypermedia protocol.
That protocol allow the peer to peer transfer of data on internet among different websites. It is quite different with the addition of blockchain technology and decentralized networks. This is because in centralized networks, the data or files aren't stored on a single server and aren't shared across different nodes of the network to make it safe.
But one on the other hand, the blockchain integrated interplanetary file systems are quite different because in them, the data is stored in different nodes of smart contracts and distributed ledger systems which can't be altered or reversed with the time. When a file of data is saved it given the specific hash and cryptographic name.
That characteristics of interplanetary file system make the data transparent, secure and immutable because each block of network contains a specific list of data and files on the blockchain network. Then in moving forward the other blocks keep on creating and storing the specific data over the specific periods of time.
When the blockchain technology integrates with interplanetary file system, it's working improves and make it more efficient. In that aspect, the first thing which improve in the platform is security and integrity of network. This is because the data is stored in the hash of networks and when any changes occurs in the data, it results in tampering of the hash which can be detected easily.
Also with the help of blockchain technology's ledger systems, any changes within the data can be detected and traced quickly which improve the security of data and make the platform more secure. Besides them the data on interplanetary file system can be retrieved easily with the help of blockchain technology as it stored in distributed ledger of network.
Due to which the data is stored in different nodes of network which makes it easily retrievable. When we request for any file, that file is retrieved from the nearest nodes and then sent to us so that we can read it easily. In this way, it enhance the secure and reliable way of data retrieval. In addition the blockchain technology make the data end to end encrypted.
When the data is end to end encrypted its privacy increases as no one can get the access to the data which is stored in the file system. But when you want decrypt that data the specific keys are required to perform that action otherwise no one can get access to the data easily. In this way the blockchain provide the more secure and private data management systems.

In conclusion, we can say that the by leveraging blockchain technology in interplanetary file systems we can deal with many issues of storage and internet as it make the data more decentralized and secure. That is why their application are found in different sectors such as in decentralized finance DeFi where the data is remain safe and secure. Also it helps the health department to keep the records of patients safe till the long interval of time.
