Hello dear friends, once again, it is my pleasure to share with you here at SING AND PLAY in its Week 162, a song that was a resounding success In Venezuela, back in the 70s, it is "Abandoned port" composed by the Venezuelan musician and composer Oswaldo Oropeza (1939 - 1998) who is the same author of the song "Missing five pa´ las 12". "Abandoned port" was recorded, in 1969, by the Venezuelan singer - Enrique Rivas (1933 - 2009) , and immediately became popular throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, reaching the "Platinum Record" award in Venezuela. Here is this simple "Acoustic version" with my #cuatrovenezolano. I just hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos, una vez más, es un placer para mi compartir con ustedes aquí en SING AND PLAY en su Semana 162, una canción que fue un rotundo éxito en Venezuela, allá por la década del 70, se trata de "Puerto abandonado" compuesta por el músico y compositor venezolano Oswaldo Oropeza (1939 - 1998) quien es el mismo autor de la canción "Faltan cinco pa´ las 12". "Puerto abandonado" fue grabada, en 1969, por el cantante venezolano - Enrique Rivas (1933 - 2009), y de manera inmediata se popularizó en toda Latinoamérica y el Caribe, llegando a obtener el premio "Disco de Platino" en Venezuela.
