How to prepare banga soup,my own recipe @zara20
Good morning steemians, how was our night, hope we slept well,I am Agbazue miracle chiamaka from Nigeria and today I want to show us how to prepare banga soup,
Banga soup is a well know soup in Nigeria you can either eat your banga soup with eba, yam, agidi or rice, but in this case I am eating it with rice, so let's go straight to the point
The ingredients for this soup are
Palm fruit
Yellow peppers
Goat meat
Onions
Crayfish
Stockfish
Kpomo
Scent leaf
Pumpkin leaf
Thyme
Curry
Salt
Seasoning cubes
And local spices
Firstly,I will have to wash my hands, after that I will wash the palm fruit
and but it on fire, while I am waiting for the palm fruit to boil,I will wash the goat meat and kpomo and steam it with thyme,Curry, onions, salt, seasoning cubes, small water
and set put it on fire,it has been 35 minutes since my palm fruit is boiling and it is now ready,so I will pound it,extract the water
(while doing this becareful not overwater it) and put the palm extract back on fire,
45 minutes later our palm extract has boiled very well,
so I will first add the stockfish which has already been washed with hot water and salt, before adding any other ingredients I will leave the stockfish to boil for 10 minutes so that it can soft, after that I will add the grinded
peppers, onions, crayfish, local spices, and salt ,meat stock, meat, and seasoning cubes but before adding the seasoning cubes make sure you taste it so it doesn't becomes too salty, Because we have already added some seasoning cubes in the meat while boiling it,after 10 minutes later I will add the scent leafs and pumpkin leafs,
allow the leave to cook for 5 minutes later then turn off the gas/fire our Banga soup is ready.
Hope you enjoyed my food, thanks for reading my post.
