Strawberry Jam

-Hello to all of you steem family, today I will tell you how to make strawberry jam and what are its benefits.

-First, we get our materials;
-enough strawberries for the people in your family
-8 cups granulated sugar
-1 teaspoon (heaping) crushed lemon salt (juice of 1 lemon optionally)
-1 teaspoon of butter

-Now we move on to the construction phase;
Wash the strawberries with plenty of water and remove the stems. If your strawberries are very large, you can cut them in half or three, but if they are medium-sized, you can leave them whole.

-Wash the strawberries you cut off the stems with plenty of water again and dry them. Arrange some of the strawberries in a large saucepan, sprinkle the granulated sugar on top. Follow the same process until you run out of granulated sugar and strawberries. Close the lid of the pot and keep it this way for a minimum of 8 hours, ideally 1 night.

-At the end of the waiting period, the strawberries will have released a lot of water and the sugar will have completely dissolved.

-If your strawberries haven't released enough water, you can add 1 teaspoon of water. Put the strawberries that have released their juices on the stove and cook them until they boil, stirring occasionally.

-When it starts to boil, add 1 teaspoon of butter for less foaming, reduce the heat and cook for 30-35 minutes in a controlled manner. Take the foam that accumulates on it during the boiling and throw it away. At the end of the boiling time, add the correctly crushed lemon salt or lemon juice and cook for 2 more minutes and remove from the stove.

Fill in a sterilized jar and close the lids and turn it upside down. After cooling, you can consume as you wish. Good luck!
