TINOLANG KINHASON Recipe - Most Wanted Soup in the Philippines
Konnichiwa Steemians! How are your? Hope all is well!
Today I will be sharing one of the famous recipe in our country - "TINOLANG KINHASON" (seashell soup).
As I have mention in my previous blogs that Philippines is rich of marine resources, so today I will using one of the variant of sea shell - Scallop, that can be found in our country.
Ingredients needed are the following!
1 kilo of scallop sea shells
1 cup of malunggay leaves
1pc of medium sized tomato
medium sized ginger
one round of onion
4 pcs chili sword
3 onion leaves
water
salt
pepper
With out further a do, Let's get started!
Step 1: Clean and remove the mud that stick to the scallop shells.
Step 2: Clean and slice the needed spices.
Step 3: Remove the leaves of malunggay from its twigs.
Step 4: Prepare all the needed ingredients
Step 5: Preheat the pan and sauté the onion and tomato
Step 6: Place the scallops in the pan, add the ginger, chili sword and water.
Step 7: Let it boil for 3 minutes, but do not over boil. Add the onion and malunggay leaves.
Step 8: Put salt and pepper to taste.
And your "Tinolang Kinhason" is ready to be served.
