The Milk Tea craze is on and milktea shops keep on popping in every corner of the street all claiming to be the best milk tea shop in town. I am one of the milk tea lovers who, if given a chance to try all milk tea shops in town would grab the opportunity without hesitation. However, for this Food Review, I am sharing to you my experience of a Milk Shake and Milk Tea station that is close to my heart - Shake-a-Loca - Tea Loca Snacks Bar.

This Snacks Bar is located at Sitio Cemento, Pusok Lapu-Lapu City.

I am a witness of its humble beginning when it started only offering Milk Shakes, French Fries and hotdogs. The owner's dedication to provide the best milkshake and snacks experience to its customer is extra-ordinary to the extent of sacrificing its profits. The Snacks Bar gains popularity for its affordable but delicious milkshake.

When ECQ was lifted and operation started again, a new product, the Tea-Loca is being introduced.

This makes this Snacks Bar gaining more popularity and the number of customers and repeat orders increases compared to the times before the ECQ.

Shake-a-Loca offers the following Milk Tea flavors: Taro, Okinawa, Red Velvet, Chocolate, Thai Milk tea, Winter melon, Matcha and Hokkaido. I tried them all already but my personal favorite is the Matcha, Red Velvet and Hokkaido. I prefer my Milk Tea at 0% sugar, Oreo Cream Cheese Overload and no pearls. I love its creaminess, the taste of the tea
complimenting perfectly with the sweetness of the milk and the granules of oreo playing with your taste buds is heaven for me.

True to its name - Tea Loca which resembles the Cebuano word "Tiloka" which means to consume to the last drop - I never let a single drop of my milk tea goes to waste. This is my comfort food and although I should not be consuming sweets often, I reward myself once or twice a month for a job well done going through tough times and the flavors of Tea Loca milk tea does not disappoint me all the time.

Before I forgot, Shake-a-Loca - Tea Loca Snacks Bar is also very well known for its Milkshake. Shake-a-Loca offers the following Milkshake flavors: Mango, Avocado, Rocky Road, Buko Pandan, Cokies 'n' Cream, Double Dutch, Ube, Coffee Crumble, Melon,Choco Fudge, Vanilla, strawberry and Mocha.
