Today I made porridege cocoyam ( called "nang tare" in my vanicular). This is a traditional meal for the meta people from momo division in the North West region of Cameroon. This dish is prepared for special occasions like marriages, dead celebrations, born houses and other traditional feast. When this dish is offered to someone is it regarded as a sign of respect and that you value the person.

INGREDIENTS: cocoyam, meat, smoked or dry fish, bitter leaf, red oil, Maggi, salt and pepper.
