African Traditional Food Promotion: Fufu corn and Njanga soup (100% POWERED UP)
Hello everyone on this beautiful platform. I am happy making my entry to the contest at this moment. I am bringing to you a step wise on how to prepare fufu call rn and njanga soup. This is a meal eaten by the people of Bali, Banso, Kom, Nkambe, Ndop and Babanki in the northwest region of Cameroon.
Owning to the fact that my paternal grandmother is from Babanki I got to learn how to prepare this delicious meal. It is a very special meal from our ancestors. On market days when our grandmother went to the market along with other women, she would buy this dry fish which will call njanga and bring back home and prepare this special meal. This was a sign to show she had gone to the market and made good sales. This habbit was passed down to generations and now today we consume it on almost daily basis. It is on eof my favorite traditional meals owning to it's taste and nutritional benefits.
Now let's see how it is prepare

PROCEDURE
CORN FUFU
I will begin first with the procedure on how to prepare the fufu corn
Normally the raw materials is maize (corn) which is ground to have the flour to be used but since there is already corn flour I did ground any more flour. So follow the steps below.
Put water in a pot and let on boil
Sieve the four to separate the bigger chaffs from the small particle sizes.
Wash the bigger chaff size and drain out the peelings that float on the water.
When the water has boiled, subtract the water and put in a flask leaving a small quantity
Pour the washed chaffs in the pot and stir to have a uniform mixture.
Cover the pot and allow to boil for about 10 minutes
Stir again and add the smooth flour and stir till you have a uniform mixture
Add water and allow to boil for about 10 - 15 minutes

Beautiful! Your presentation is topnotch. The corn fufu and the Njanga soup looks very delicious. I enjoyed the background information about the soup. So if they don't make good sales they will not buy the fish? Haha! Nice, thank goodness that you made good sales and prepared this delicious food for us.
Next time, hold the steemifoods artwork on your hand along with the food you prepared and take a selfie
Thank you for the encouragement ma. Actually not having a good sales in the market you won't be able to by this fish which is used to prepare the soup. So we always pray to make a good trade so that we treat our families well with this special food. We love it so much too
