Hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. I'm excited to be a part of this contest #34 organized by @alikoc07 "prepare delicious and creative vegan recipe". Vegan recipes are those in which all ingredients are plant base. Vegan foods helps to reduce body weight. There are thousands of different recipes that you can made in this type of food.

For this contest I'm going to prepare very tasty Legumes with potatoes. Hope you like mmy recipe. Let's move on to the contest.


INGREDIENTS


Ingredientquantity
Legumes1/2kg
Potatoes1/4kg
Onion1 medium
Tomatoes3-4
Cumin seeds1/2tsp
Red chili powder1/2tsp
Saltas per taste
Turmeric powder1/4tsp
Oil4tbs
Green chillies3-4
Coriander leavesfor garnish

PROCEDURE

  • Wash legumes properly and placr over strainer to remove excess water from it.

  • Cut legume properly. Pel off the skin of potatoes and cut into pieces and cut onions and tomatoes too.

  • Take some oil in pan and add cummin seeds to the pan and fry it.



  • Add garlic and ginger paste to it and sotey it for sometime.



  • Add onion to the pan and fry it for a few minutes.




  • Take out all spices according to the recipe.

  • Add Legumes, potatoes and tomatoes to the pan.

  • Now add spice to the pan. And cover the lid of pan and cook for 6-10mins.

  • Now recipe is ready to served. You can eat it with rice or bread.

  • Garnish it with green coriander leaves and green chillies. Then served it hot.

  • Legumes :160 pkr
  • potatoes :60 pkr
  • tomatoes :80 pkr

Nutrition facts :

Legumes are good source of vitamins and protein and fully loaded with fiber. Potatoes provide carb and mineral while tomatoes provide vitamin C, choline, fiber, potassium to our body. So collectively this recipe is very nutritious and provides us many vitamins and minerals with protein, fiber and carbs. So eating this food is a good choice for good health.
