Hello foodies

today I'm going to share very tasty recipe of gram flour curry or baisan ki curry. It is one of our traditional dish. When ever we cook this dish always distribute to the neighbors or family or friends and it is also our tradition.
Let's make it in an easy way.

INGREDIENTS

for curry

Ingredientquantity
Gram flour1and1/2 cup
yougart.750gm
red chilli.2tsp
turmeric powder.2tsp
salt.As per taste
onions.1large size
curry leaves5-6
black pepper7_8
cumin seeds.1tsp
cinnamon stick.2
oil6tbsp

for pakora

Ingredientquantity
Gram flour.250g
onion.2
saltas per taste
chili powder.1tsp
green chili.2
cumin seeds.1tsp
waterfor mixing
oilfor frying

Baghar:Topping :

Ingredientquantity
Curry leaves.6_7
cumin seeds.1tsp
whole red chilli6_7

PROCEDURE

HOW TO MAKE GRAM FLOUR CURRY:

It is made in three steps, it takes more time in preparation but it is very tasty and simple recipe. Can be eaten with bread or rice.

step 1:curry making :

  • Take 1.5cup of gram flour and 750gm of yougart and one large onion, if you take sour yougart it will make your dish more tasty, simple way to make it sour is just add salt in yougart and leave it for few hrs then used in curry.

  • put all these in blender and make thin paste of them, add 5_6glass of water to it and pour this thin paste in a pan and put is on medium flame.

  • Take out all spices according to the recipe and put them in the pan. Keep stirring the paste if you don't stir it gram will deposits at the base of pan and uniformity of mixture vanished and lumps will be formed. So stir it until the mixture boils.

  • when the mixture boils keep the flame at low flame and cook it for 2_3hrs. Meanwhile check the consistency of curry.

  • Now curry is ready and we move towards the next step of recipe.

step 2:pakora making:

Now we made pakora for curry.

  • Take gram flour in a bowl and put all mentioned ingredients in it and make its thick paste by slowly adding water to it, beat it nicely than doesn't contain any lumps and leave it for some time.

  • Take oil in a pan and warm it at medium flame, by the help of spoon put this paste in oil and fry them until they become golden brown.

  • put all these pakora in curry and dipped them in curry and cover the lid of pan and cook it for more 15 min.

Now curry with pakora is ready.

Step 3 (topping) or bhaghar:

  • Take out all ingredients and fry them in oil. Now delicious curry is ready. It can b served with roti or rice. But I like curry with rice.
