Today I’m going to show you how to make a quick homemade strudel!
I love this recipe and I often make it when I don’t have time because this recipe takes very little time.

The material you need is:

Yeast42g
Flour1,5Kg (1500g)
Sunflower oil50ml
Salt5g
Sugar200g
Nuts300g
Jam300g

Prepare a bowl for mixing the dough, add water to it, then yeast. Stir until the yeast dissolves. When the yeast melts, add sugar and salt, then mix it all. Add sunflower oil and flour (500g of flour) You start mixing and it should look like this ...

When the mass is combined and becomes firm, add another 500 grams of flour and start mixing by hand, the dough will then be completely combined.


Spread it in that bowl and let it rise for about 15 minutes. When the dough rises it should be very soft to the touch. Then mix it by hand and add another 500 grams, shape into a square shape.

During that time, prepare the walnuts, I didn't have any ground ones, so I took them to grind, mix the jam and ground walnuts (you will spread them on the dough with that mass).

When you have prepared all that, take it and pour that mass on the dough that you have shaped, when you coat the dough, roll it (into the shape of a strudel) and put it in a baking pan.

It depends on how much strudel you want, but from the new quantity we have prepared, it was enough for me to make three strudels (if you like, you can make one large or several small ones, work as you wish and what kind of baking tray you have)

Bake for 30 minutes at medium temperature in your oven (this is necessary for the dough to be nicely baked on all sides)
