SteemFood-Restaurant | ZUBUNOK a Taste of Delicious Rice Chicken Meal in a Bowl

An exceptional and highly recommended chicken rice meal can only be found here at Zubunok. It is the newest addition to the Zubufoods family that also includes Zubuchon.

Zubunok is derived from the word zubu which means Sugbo English term for Cebu, while nok is short for manok which means chicken 🐔. On the other hand, Zubuchon means sugbo and chon short for lechon or roasted whole pig 🐖.

These two restaurants are just located next to each other. But I will focus this time on the Zubunok restaurant. That for sure, fellow steemians living in the same city as mine would love to try this very affordable and the tastiest rice chicken meal in town.

The Atmosphere Inside
The dining area is around 30 square meter and it has 8 tables good for 1 person, 2 persons and 4 persons. They also maintain social distancing that's why only limited seats are being offered for costumers.

They have seats ready outside for those who are willing to wait and also disinfectant and temperature 🌡️ check before coming in for everyone's safety.

Even though the place isn't huge but the designs and color used inside is relaxing and appetizing. They also have an accessible small fridge for cold water 💦 under the cashier table on the left side.

The Menu

By the door, they have a display of their menu so people looking for food could just easily make choices and decide if they would give this restaurant a try. But inside dining area they also have a nicer version of their menu with appetizing photos.

Since this is our fift time here today, me and my wife tried another flavor. She usually have the Korean spicy wings and teriyaki and I usually get teriyaki and roasted chicken.

But today we tried new ones, she has the gravy chicken and I had the BBQ spice. Both are 110 PHP each serving or roughly 2.27 USD.

With 2 orders of chicken rice meal plus 1 can of coke, our bill was only 270 PHP or around 5.57 USD.

Location
The place is very accessible for people from Cebu City because it is inside the Pueblo Verde, a place known for factory price stores for branded products like shoes and sports wear. It is also where the teeminal for both inside and outside Lapu-Lapu City. It is also by the entrance
(left side) of the Pueblo Verde.

Always remember that the quality of the food we eat does not depend on the expensive places we go. It depends on the heart of the chef, and the management of the restaurant to make quality foods in an affordable way.
