SteemFoods Contest #6 👩🍳 Kuy-Tiev K'Chap (Stuffed Noodles) 🌯 A Traditional Khmer Recipe🌴
I made Kuy-Tiev K'Chap today for the first time, and I wanted to share with all of you on Steemit. I never made it by myself before, I only buy it to eat when I lived in my country, Cambodia.
I don't know what it's called it in English, but my husband speak English-Cambodian, he say translate to "stuffed noodles". Normally, this food used pork meat but I change it to Ital recipe because it’s more delicious and better for health.

Ingredients For batter
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup cassava flour
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup cool water & 1 cup hot water
Take bowl, put rice flour and cassava flour, salt and mix very well, then put cool water and hot water, oil stir it very well and close and keep it 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes we can make it. Heat pan and spread oil on the pan, then take a spoon and spread the batter very thin. After a minute we look at it, if it like this we can take it outside.
Spread oil on your plate before you take it out of the pan, or maybe it's too sticky. Normally, these noodles they steam it, but now some people in Cambodia do it like me because it’s easier to make at home. But the people make it to sell in the store or market, they steam it.
Put filling on big noodles and close it. This food we can eat with cucumber, lettuce, basil, mint, bean sprouts and vegetables as you like.
I prepare vegetables in the bowl, and I cut the stuffed noodles, then I put sweet sauce and mix up together. Now I can eat, it’s delicious and Ital 😋.
Hi :
Your participation in the contest that I organized with the # steemfoods-traditional tag has been successfully approved. Although it was your first post in the SteemFoods Community, you have prepared great content. I was delighted to see a demonstration of one of Cambodia's delicious traditional dishes at the SteemFoods Community. The Khmer you prepared looks incredibly delicious and the quality of the photos you take is great. I have added this recipe to the 'Best SteemFoods Posts of the Day'. We will try to vote with-steemcurator01. I'm looking forward to the other recipes you will prepare at home. :)
