Dutch “Oliebollen”

A little late but however nice to share

I made myself this year for the first time “olie bollen”
It s a Dutch tradition to make and eat them at 31 december and 1 januar.

It are a kind of ball made from yeast dough with raisins which you fry in hot oil.
Before eating them you sprinkle the “oliebol” with a lot of powdred sugar.
Especially when they are warm and it’s cold outside they are amazing good 🤗
