My Students' Cookery Outputs in Appetizer Making
Hello to my foodie Steemit friends!!! I hope you're having a great day!
As a teacher, nothing gives me the greatest joy but seeing my students learning new skills and applying this in real life. As a Cookery teacher, after all the theoretical inputs, we spend time to do our performance tasks by cooking different dishes. For today, I will be sharing my students' outputs in our Cookery class. They were able to prepare different kinds of appetizers.
Since the pandemic, we hold classes using the online classes and modular modality. So students, especially in the elementary and high school are not yet allowed to go to school. I really hope, that everything will be back to normal so we can already hold face to face classes. Nothing beats teaching, talking and interacting with our students face to face.
And since I wasn't able to share with you before this pandemic strikes, let me share to you some of my students' outputs in cooking or preparing appetizers.
Antipasto, an Italian appetizer consisting of an assortment of foods, like sausages, cheese, peppers, vegetables, etc.
The first group were able to prepare an Antipasto Platter. They used sausages, ham, eggs, cheese and different kinds of vegetables. They arranged them on a wooden board.
The second group prepared Cheesy Stuffed Bell Peppers. It is made with ground pork and vegetables, stuffed in bell peppers, topped with cheese and nicely baked.
While the third group prepared their Deviled Eggs. It is made from boiled eggs, with the yolk mixed with mayonnaise, paprika, salt and pepper. They were able to pulled off creating cute li'l chicks design on their plates.
How I really wish to go back when everything was normal, holding classes face to face. I just miss teaching them, interacting with them. It's way too different teaching in front of a computer or checking cooked dishes that they have submitted through online messaging. Face to face class is way better. Let's just pray for the best.
Ciao! I shall see you again next time foodies 🧡🧡🧡
