The Food Diary Game Season 3 : 21-11-2021 | sfcharity50pc & club5050 | Pan fried fish with salad and potatoes for our client's order of the day / Chicken Burger and Sweet corn soup for my lunch at home...another day around delicious foods!
If you have been reading my blogs, you must have surely noticed that everyday I prepare a lot of take away foods...
From burgers to panini...grilled chicken to fish...stir fried noodles...fried rice...and the list goes on and on!!!
And today...we prepared : Pan fried fish served wit salad and potatoes for our client for the daily lunch that we cook everyday...
We place the salad first when preparing the take away boxes!
While I was putting the salad in the take away boxes - We had 65 portions to make for today - my colleague was busy pan frying the fish filet which we marinated with Laksa paste...
Once cooked, the fish was placed in the boxes and we added the dressing for the salad and more lemon slices...then closed the boxes which were ready to be delivered!
Lovely weather...
Everything was ready at about 11.15am and I was on the road at around 11.25am for the delivery!
As you probably know...we are in the summer months over here in Mauritius and these days the weather is just perfect!
Back home at about noon for my lunch!
I never eat from my restaurant...I only cook and serve others!
And for me...it is my wife or mom who prepare lunch while for dinner it is mainly my sister who cooks for me!
Chicken burger and Sweet Corn Soup for my lunch!
Once I was at my place...I went directly to eat my lunch...prepared by my wife!
Sweet Corn Soup...
This is my all time favorite soup and my wife learned this recipe after coming to Mauritius 8yrs back...
Now she makes it very nicely...you can find different veggies, chicken and eggs in this soup!
The burger was yummy too...
It was a burger with crispy chicken and the usual stuffs in...(Tomato/Lettuces/Onion/gherkins/Mayo/Ketchup!)
After lunch...I went to relax a bit and when I woke up at around 15pm...my tea and some cakes were ready for me!
Below is a plate of different sweets and cakes prepared by my wife's aunty that we had for our tea time!
And you know what!? This is only some of the foods that I encountered for today...there were a real lot more but unfortunately can't take photos of everything and share on a single post!
