Hello there welcome to my blog once again. This is another engagement challenge and this time I'm writing in the Steem Food community on the topic "Favorite Supermarket"
Here we talk about our favorite supermarket where we always like to go and get stuff for ourselves.

Spar Supermarket
Spar Supermarket is a very popular supermarket in Nigeria. They have a lot of branches in different states in Nigeria. One of their branches is located in Calabar, Cross River State.
They have the largest supermarket in terms of the size of their building and in terms of goods and services being sold. It is also the largest supermarket branch of Spar in Nigeria. The building is made of 5000 square meters in space, this also includes the parking space and the walls and gates.
Their building is actually multi-purpose as others can rent spaces in their building to sell their products. They also have a section that is strictly used as an event center where they host shows and guests come around to participate in the event.
The time they open every day is 9:00 am to 10:00 pm except on Sundays when they open by 10:00 am.
The owner of the Spar franchise is Artee Group. They brought Spar to Calabar as part of their investment in Nigeria. They also have investments in other states across Nigeria.
At full capacity, the supermarket can host up to 5000 shoppers at any given time.
Why it's my Favorite

It is my favorite supermarket because they have almost everything you can think of when you decide to shop. They have things that are in different categories such as Grocery, Bakery, Butchery, Hot meals, Consumer Goods, Wines & Spirits, Fruits & Vegetables, Watches & Jewellery.
The prices there are relatively less expensive in comparison to other supermarkets that you can find around. The price is even less compared to smaller shops and smaller retail supermarkets. They sell at a price that is close to the prices that are sold in the distribution shops.

The feel and the ambiance of the place are so nice and warm. From the moment you step into the compound and go right into the mall and come out, everywhere feels exceptional and it's just like you should go there and never come back.

The workers are also very nice and friendly. They attend to customers with care and understanding. They are there to direct anyone who has lost his way, they also help customers to store their belongings in a safe place before entering the mall.

The products that customers want to get are put at different locations. The arrangement of the items is such that it is easier for you to locate what you want easily and on time.
The mall itself is located at the heart of the Muslim community on this site. The name of the place is 'Bogobiri'. There are lots of Muslim people who reside here and they have businesses here too.

The location of the mall is also intelligently placed beside the Cultural center that is also found there. There are also lots of banks and markets people around here, so it helps that people can come into the mall regularly.
Honestly, I don't go to the Spar supermarket that often. I go there once a week or a month depending on what I want to get at that time. But before I go, I make sure that I'm fully prepared so as to get a lot of things that I really need.
