Hi everyone. I am @mosharroff from Bangladesh. Today I will share with you about the most delicious and traditional food of my country in @steemfoods . This is khichuri and beef. This morning I cook khichuri and beef to cook traditional food at my home to participate in this competition . There is a lot of taste in eating khichuri with beef. It is not possible to understand the taste without eating theses . I will share with you the recipes for making this dish so that you can cook and eat too.
At the first How to cook khichuri :
Materials:
- Mug dal - 1 cup
- Polaw rice - 3 cups
- Soybean oil - half a cup
- Onion crumbs - 1 cup
- Green cardamom - 6
- Cloves - 5
- Bay leaves - 2
- Cinnamon - 3 sticks
- Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Hot spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt- to taste
- Raw pepper- a few
Fry mug dal on medium heat. When the dal turns brown, take it down and mix it with rice. Wash the pulses and rice together and take them in a large sieve. Give half an hour to drain the water.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onion and hot spices. When the onion turns brown, add half a cup of normal water. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste for two more minutes. Now add all the powdered spices and salt. Cover the pan for a few minutes, leaving the oil to stir. Then season with a mixture of rice and pulses. Stir well and fry for 8 to 10 minutes. Pour 6 cups of boiling hot water. When it is thick, add whole green chillies. If you break the head of the pepper a little, the nice aroma will spread in the khichuri. Cover the pan over medium heat for 10 minutes. Then lift the lid and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve tasteful and delicious khichuri.
To show you, I took a lot of pictures from the beginning of cooking khichuri, then I thought how to upload so many pictures, so I made a video of the pictures together:
