This is my very first post in this group. As I am a foodie and always try to find different ways to cook. I wanted to post here from so many days so I just got time and make a special chowmien for you guys ^_^ . If you really like my post then please encourage me by writing kind words.
I live in Pakistan and since morning its been raining here so the weather is so pleasant here.
So i cooked my chowmien in different style.
LETS BEGIN ,
Chicken Chowmien 🍝 (SO YUM)!
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Boneless chicken | 400gm |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Vinegar | 2 tsp |
Soy sauce | 1 tbsp |
Worcestershire sauce | half tbsp |
Black pepper | 1tsp |
White pepper | 1/2tsp |
Corn flour | 1 tbsp |
Ginger paste | 1/2 tsp |
Chicken powder | 1 tsp |
Chilli flakes | 1 tsp |
Garlic paste | 1/2 tsp |
For SAUCE:
Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|
Vinegar | 2tbsp |
Soy sauce | 2 tbsp |
Worcestershire | 1 tbsp |
Oyster sauce | 2 tbsp1 tbsp |
Red chili sauce | 1 to 2 tbsp |
Sweet chillie sauce | 1 tbsp |
Ketchup | 6 to 8 tbsp |
Honey or 1 tsp sugar | 2 tbsp |
Chilli flakes | 1 tsp |
Black pepper powder | 1/2 tsp |
Chicken powder | 1tsp |
1/2 tbsp garlic paste (optional - I love garlic so added more)
VEGETABLES:
Vegetable | Quantity |
---|---|
Carrots | 1/2 cup |
Cabbage | 1/2 cup |
Capsicum | 1 cup |
OTHERS:
- 2 tsp oil for noodles
- 2 tsp salt for noodles
- 2 tbsp sesame oil for noddles
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp thinly sliced ginger
- 1 tbsp thinly sliced green chili
- 6-8 tbsp oil for cooking
- 4 tbsp green onion to garnish

Step 1:
Take 2-3 litre of water
Bring it to boil
Add oil, 1-2tsp salt + 1 chicken cube
Add spaghettis
Let boil for 5-8mins or until cooked
Drain the water
Add oil, mix the spaghetti & set aside
Step 2:
Marinate the chicken in above listen ingredients & set aside for for atleast 10-15 mins.
Step 3:
Take a wok
Add 3-4 tbsp of oil
Add marinated chickens & cook until chicken has completely cooked
Take the chicken out & set aside
Step 4:
In the same chicken 🍗 wok, add more oil
Add chopped ginger & garlic 🧄
Add sliced green chillies 🌶
Let cook for 20 seconds
Then add carrots 🥕
Add cabbage
Cook for a minute
Add capsicum 🫑
Cook for a minute or 2.
ADD THE SAUCE AT THIS POINT.
Add the cooked chicken
Stir fry till combined.
Balance out salt & black pepper till your desired level
Add noodles step by step. Keep stir frying.
Add spring onions and mix again till noodles are covered in the sauce.
Serve hot! TADAAA💁🏻♀️

Evening:
So then In the evening I made some wontons with nothing included from the original Wonton Recipe and this is how I did.
Some leftover shredded Chicken, some spring rolls pastry sheets, some cheese slices and doneee 💁♀️
So I fried my special wonton. Its a very tasty snack .
Then in night I had mince meat and rice with pulse. It is so tasty food. Wè pakistanis love to eat it. And some fries too.
